Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist who currently competing within the UFC flyweight division. Valentina is her elder sister, as well as a fellow UFC competitors. Antonina Shevchenko's career in combat sports began as an Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous vote before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. The league was dissolved in 2018, Shevchenko joined Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's superior strike skills allowed her to TKO Nievera via knees in the lower body. Shevchenko won the unanimous decision, but she fell in the second round to Roxanne Modafferi on an undisputed split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the defeat and beat Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke submission and earned the prize of the night during the bout. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights beating Ariane Lipski before losing to Katlyn Chookagian, and Andrea Lee.
