Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. was an American actress known for portraying strong but vulnerable character. Linney is from a theatre-loving family. Her father, Romulus Linney, was a writer. Linney attended Arts Theatre School at Moscow, then graduated with her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. in New York City in 1990.
